Fan Club BY Irving Wallace

After Seventh Secret and Guest of honor, Fan club is one more addition. This is the third novel I read which is written by Irving Wallace. I found Fan club is totally different from previous two novels. It’s full of “Matter”.

Story move like this

Four guys kidnap a famous movie star named Sharon Fields. The men delude themselves into thinking that once Sharon Fields realizes how "nice" they are, she will willingly submit to their wishes. However, she refuses to even talk to them and that's when things go wrong. This novel revolves around four different characters, their planning to Kidnap the actress and agreement between them about various responsibilities.

Wallace mentioned proper definitions for Rape, Kidnap etc. …..

Rape:

Rape is an act of sexual intercourse, accomplished with a female not the wife of perpetrator, under either of the following circumstances:

Where the female is under the age of eighteen; Where she is incapable, through lunacy or unsoundness of mind, whether temporary or permanent, of giving legal consent;

Where she resists, but her resistance is overcome by force or violence;

Where she is prevented from resisting by threats of great and immediate bodily harm. Accompanied by the apparent power of execution, or by any intoxicating narcotic, or anesthetic, substance, administered by or with privity of the accused;

Where she is at the time of unconscious of the nature of the act and this is known to the accused;

Where she submits under the belief that the person committing the act is her husband, and this belief is induced by any artifice, pretence, or concealment practiced by the accused, with intent to induce such a belief

I have read only Chapman Report. Found that to be a significant source of "matter" when i was in my teens.. Seventh Secret is also a good one.
